Navigating through high stress alone can be a huge challenge. The negative impact it can have on your work and personal life can make you feel discouraged and out of control. Experiencing a season of constant stress can quickly make you feel pressured, overwhelmed, and even burned. When you are often feeling stretched thin, your responsibilities can seem like burdens, leaving you little room to enjoy all parts of your life.

I can help you overcome stress and burnout. Through teaching you coping skills tailored to reducing the intensity of stress, you learn how to deal with the stress you experience. I help you identify the sources of stress in a nonjudgemental way, so that you can create realistic action steps to reduce its impact. I also guide you through considering what type of self-care activities that can help you thrive while taking care of yourself.

I’ve been in the mental health field for 7 years, providing therapy for 6 of those years. My experience includes a diverse specialty in community mental health along with group private practice. My therapeutic approach equips me to help you further, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Informed life skills training.

I am a Certified Trauma Professional and completed 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training (Yoga instructor). Lastly, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the state of Virginia.
